Dan Wesson 44V Revolver 44 Magnum Mint Condition. Manufactured 1984 designed for Metal Silouette Shooting using the 375 Super Magnum Cartaridge.

Very rare Dan Wesson 375 SuperMag! Not a typo this is a 375 pistol caliber based on a shortened 375 Winchester rifle round. Pistol is in good used condition and has been fired very little due to lack of ammo.

EXCELLENT- near new condition 98%%, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect. Does not come with Barrel Removal Nut tool.

Each Dan Wesson Firearms revolver bears the name of Daniel B. Wesson, who founded Wesson Firearms Co., Inc. in 1968. The great-grandson of D. B. Wesson, co-founder of Smith & Wesson, his goal was to build the finest revolvers that the shooting world had ever seen. He accomplished this by creating guns that were innovative, virtually indestructible and capable of match-grade accuracy right out of the box.

Dan Wesson was a perfectionist, preferring to build a few truly great guns, rather than many merely good ones. In an era of mega-corporations and bottom-line management, he would never allow quality to be sacrificed for the sake of quantity. And it didn’t stop there. His philosophy was “You can never be fully satisfied. You can always make something better.” This kept him on a course of constant improvement, while providing his customers with the very best revolvers that money could buy.

Manufacturer: Dan Wesson

Model: Double Action

Type: Revolver

Gauge: 375 Super Magnum

Barrel: 8 inch vent rib

Finish: blue

Grip: walnut

Serial Number: SM0309

Here is how to change the barrel:

1. Unscrew and remove the barrel nut.
2. Remove the barrel shroud.
3. Unscrew and remove the barrel.
4. Screw in the new barrel almost all the way to the cylinder.
5. Right before the breech end of the barrel touches the cylinder, slip the gap gauge 0.004 – 0.006” in between them. Finger tighten the barrel down against the gauge so that the gauge is sandwiched between the cylinder and the barrel. You need make sure the cylinder rotates smoothley after setting the gap.
6. Now back the barrel out a little, so the gap gauge slides pretty freely. Leave the gap gauge in place.
7. Place the barrel shroud over the barrel.
8. Thread the barrel nut onto the barrel and tighten it down with the supplied tool. Tighten it pretty tight.
9. As you tighten the barrel nut, the barrel itself will also tighten some more. This is why you backed it out a little in step 6.
10. Once the barrel nut is tight, remove the gap gauge. It will not slide as freely but should not be clamped in there too awful tightly.

Barrel/ Cylinder gap for the Dan Wesson .357 Magnum is .006"
same gap for thier .41 Mag. and .44Mag.
B/C gap for thier .357 Maximum is .002"
