The Winchester Model 9422 is a premium rimfire lever-action rifle manufactured from 1972 to 2005.

Overview and History

Winchester introduced the Model 9422 to restore its reputation for high-quality craftsmanship following cost-cutting changes in the 1960s. Designed to mirror the classic look and feel of the legendary Model 1894 centerfire rifle, it features an exposed hammer, straight-grip wood stock, and barrel bands. Approximately 850,000 units were produced before manufacturing ceased.
